The room is in a brand new duplex apartment, with a HUGE common area, two bathrooms, a guest restroom, a very nice furnished rooftop with view on the city and a laundry in the basement, shared in a friendly atmosphere with a couple of a dancer and a cinema assistant and two guys working in graphic design and new technologies, all in their mid-late 20s.
The area is very cool and arty: fresh market down the corner, farmers corp by the train station, bars and restaurants (especially on Troutman and Starr St), art studios, concert and theater venues ... 30-20 min from Manhattan by train.
$1250/ month + utilities (env. $50). Only ONE month security deposit. NO FEE.
