Brooklyn College is accepting applications for the position of Enrollment Registrar Coordinator.

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Registrar Coordinator will assist with the management of daily office activities, including:
the main reception area, communication with the College community, and enrollment verification. The successful candidate will also train faculty and staff on the CUNY E-Permit system, and process all E-permits for the college.

In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Registrar Coordinator duties include but are not limited to:

* Assist with the management of daily office operations. Maintain accurate information and updated forms to be distributed by the front counter. Supervise staff.
* Verify student enrollment and provide additional information as required.
* Assist the Associate Registrar in the maintenance of the Registrar e-mail box.
* Coordinate the usage of the CUNY E-Permit system. Ensure guidelines are upheld for non-CUNY permits at the college. Monitor the E-Permit e-mail box and all correspondence from the division of E-Permits.
* Train department chairs and staff on the CUNY E-Permit process. Assist in the monitoring of the department s main e-mail account, and correspondence that is released to the student body and faculty.
Bachelor's Degree required.

Other qualifications:

* One (1) year of higher education experience, preferably in a Registrar s Office setting.
* Familiarity with CUNYfirst or PeopleSoft/Oracle is preferred.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
Provides operational support for registration operations.
* Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
* Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
* Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
* Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
* Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
* Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
* May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
* May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
* Performs related duties as assigned.
