Helo loves other cats!'s story
Please meet Helo! He and his siblings were rescued when they were about 5 months old from a colony in Brooklyn during a TNR (trap-neuter-return) project. Some mean people were threatening to poison them so their rescuer couldn't put the kittens back there. Because Helo didn't have much interaction with people when he was a tiny little kitten, he grew up afraid of them and now prefers to keep his distance. His foster mom has been working really hard with him, and he does feel comfortable "around" her and in his foster home but he really prefers to hang out with her other 2 kitties. If you are looking for a companion for your cat or kitten, Helo is most likely your perfect match! We hope that eventually in the right home and with the right person he will learn how to trust people. Helo is about a year old, neutered, tested neg for fiv/felv and up to date on shots.
