Rocky Jackson was battered at the pet dog park! Because she might not manage clinical care for his injuries, Rockys owner then had to surrender him to BACC. Rocky sustained an injury to his left eye, and some lacerations to his leg and face. His wounds are recovering, and his eye looks much better, but he will still require some follow-up veterinarian care. Rocky is a good-looking man, and despite his injuries, is very social! He prances and wiggles right up to the front of the cage when you call him over! He actually enjoys playing outside in our backyard, and loves toys! Rocky did show some resource guarding during his SAFER, and his new family needs to be prepared to manage this behavior if exhibited in the home. He will need a customized 6 month quarantine since Rocky sustained injuries from another canine with an unidentified vaccination history. Rocky does not have to be quarantined at a vets workplace and can stay in a house, but his foster/adopter will certainly require to be in contact with the Department of Health for a 6 month duration.
